CDC Update

According to the CDC, the risk of developing the coronavirus is still low in our area, but things are evolving quickly.  Many of you are facing significant challenges. The Federal, State, and local governments have imposed restrictions for the communities to help mitigate and contain the virus. We do not meet the state criteria to cancel meetings, but out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to implement the following safety precautions for service this week:
  • Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer when entering the BFC building
  • Avoid shaking hands, hugging or touching each other
  • Maintain a safe social distancing area (6 feet).  The chairs will be set up to meet this criteria.
  • Please do not come to church service if you are sick; but let Pastor Paul know so that we can pray for you
  • Practice 6 feet of distancing when talking with each other
  •  BFC premises is commercially cleaned and sanitized everyday to ensure the people who work and worship there feel secure.
People of all ages can be infected by the coronavirus, although certain groups of the population appear to be more vulnerable to becoming severely ill when infected with the virus.  If you meet the criteria of any of these groups or live with someone who is, we recommend that you not go to public events at this time:
  • Individuals over the age of 60
  • Individuals with preexisting medical conditions, such as respirator disease, diabetes or heart disease
  • Individuals with a compromised immune system
If you decide to stay home this week, I encourage you to watch the service LIVE via Facebook.  We will miss you, but certainly understand each individual situation
